Introduction
Framewise Health, Inc. ("Framewise," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at framewisehealth.com or use our services.
Framewise provides an AI medical assistant that healthcare providers deploy to run the patient front office: it phones patients ahead of visits, conducts intake and informed consent through an interactive video flow, schedules appointments, syncs with the provider's electronic health record (EHR) system, and drafts clinical notes and billing codes for provider review and approval.

Information Processed by the AI Medical Assistant
When a healthcare provider deploys the Framewise AI medical assistant, it processes information on the provider's behalf in order to perform front-office tasks. Depending on how the provider configures the service, this may include:
- Phone call audio and transcripts — recordings and transcripts of calls the assistant places to, or receives from, patients, used to conduct intake, answer questions, and coordinate care. The assistant identifies itself as an AI on every call.
- Video intake and consent recordings — the patient's interactive video intake session and a timestamped record of the informed-consent flow, including the exact materials presented, the language used, and the patient's responses.
- Electronic health record (EHR) and Protected Health Information (PHI) — clinical and demographic data read from and written to the provider's EHR, such as appointment details, intake responses, consent records, draft visit notes, and suggested billing codes.
- Scheduling information — appointment dates and times, provider availability, and related logistics used to book, confirm, and remind patients of visits.
This information is processed solely to deliver the service to the provider. Providers retain control of their patient data, and all clinical and billing outputs are surfaced for a member of the provider's team to review and approve before anything is finalized.
HIPAA Compliance
Framewise Health operates as a Business Associate under HIPAA when processing Protected Health Information (PHI) on behalf of our Covered Entity customers. We maintain appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect PHI, including:
- End-to-end encryption for all data in transit and at rest, including call audio and video intake and consent recordings
- Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all applicable service providers
- Access controls and comprehensive audit logging of every action the assistant takes
- Regular security assessments and employee training
This website does not collect or process PHI. PHI is handled exclusively within our clinical platform under separate agreements with healthcare provider customers.
